  • New Dojo Opening in Mt Warren 26th August

    Sensei Danial will be opening a Mt Warren Park Jujutsu dojo on Friday the 26th of August. This will be San Go Ichi Ryu JuJutsu's 4th dojo and will add a dojo in the Logan region. Opening night will see the majority of the San Go Ichi Ryu JuJutsu Yudansha run the first training night and is expected to be a great night.

  • Volleyball Queensland Senior Schools Cup

    Senior Schools Cup is an annual volleyball festival targeted at year 11 and 12 High School students. The event is held annually with all standards of athletes and teams catered for. Around 2,000 participants compete over the 3 day competition across several venues including Logan Metro, Cornubia Park and Mt Warren Sports Centres this Friday to Sunday.

    Basketball Australia is delighted to announce that it has awarded a licence to SEQ Basketball to compete in the 2015/16 Wattle Valley Women's National Basketball League. The bid team headed by Club Chairman Jarrod Sierocki today unveiled former Australian Boomer Shane Heal as its inaugural head coach and Jayco Australian Opals star Erin Phillips as its first player signing.

  • Celebrating local sport!

    Great fun was had by all on Saturday night when over 400 people joined in celebrating local sport at the BDS City of Logan Sports Awards. Spotted on the red carpet were our Special Olympics Logan crew, nominated for Sports Association and Sports Coach for 2014. Well done to all!

  • Logan Metro is transforming

    Road works are never ideal but we're excited with the progress of the installation of our very own traffic lights at Logan Metro. Temporary barriers are in place to protect workers and pedestrians and the speed limit on Browns Plains Road has been reduced to 40km/h in both directions. This will be in place for some time. Please take extra care when entering or exiting the Logan Metro precinct; we want you to keep safe!
