History of inSports

The inSports Logan sub-brand was established in 1998 when Logan City Council's first indoor sports centre was constructed in Cornubia Park. Until recently Cornubia Park was the only indoor sporting facility to carry the inSports Logan brand.

Over the years, inSports Logan has become a household name in Logan City. Cornubia Park Sports Centre has hosted an array of sporting events from local to state-wide and national levels. The facility is owned and operated by the Logan City Council, and continues to be a venue used by a number of groups and organisations for events, sports training, leisure and family recreation.

With the construction of Logan Metro Sports Centre and the acquisition of Beenleigh Arena and Springwood Gym, the inSports brand is now carried across three indoor sporting facilities and three health and fitness centres.

The Logan Metro Sports Centre and Logan North Aquatic & Fitness Centre (formerly Springwood Gym)are both owned and operated by the Logan City Council.

Beenleigh Arena is owned by Logan City Council and in January 2013 came back under the management of Logan City Council, to be renamed Mt Warren Sports Centre.

Coupled with Logan City Council's Aquatic Centres, inSports continues to deliver on it's vision "providing a diverse and affordable range of quality community services and innovative sport, leisure and healthy living opportunities to our Logan community in a safe, friendly and fun environment"
